At Leed, we are building a future where quality, sustainability, and community well-being are at the forefront of everything we do.

Established in 2001, Leed is an Australian-owned engineering and construction company delivering key civil and water infrastructure projects in metropolitan, regional, and remote areas of Australia. Leed has become a national provider with more than 200 people across our workforce, and offices and workshops in Adelaide, Bendigo, Cooma, and Melbourne.

Your journey starts here..

As an Undergraduate Engineer, you'll join an experienced project team at one of our iconic locations, developing your knowledge and experience in project management, engineering, and construction management.

Under guidance and supervision by your Mentor and Supervisor, assist the day-to-day operations of our projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality service to meet our client's needs and revel in your contributions to critical state and national projects.

What to expect?

The Undergraduate training and development program is focused on practical learning outcomes, exposing you to the core fundamentals of civil engineering projects from start to finish.

You'll get to experience;

  • Implement meaningful and structured projects
  • Translate the skills, knowledge, and theory gained at university into professional practice
  • Contribute to problem-solving
  • Consolidate their project planning and management skills
  • Advance their professional skills, including communication, time management, and teamwork

Internships occur for a fixed duration of 4-, 6- or 12 weeks in line with your vacation periods and study commitments.

As a national organisation, you must be open to travel intra- and interstate frequently or relocate. This is a great opportunity to see the country!

What you'll bring

You will bring an ambitious outlook on your development, and an appetite to enhance project delivery skills by your drive and passion for all aspects of civil engineering and construction. You will have a natural curiosity and ability to build strong relationships on site and with clients through active involvement in your learning and shadowing experience engineers supporting your journey.
