What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Pay is below average in this economic climate. No bonuses are given (that I am aware of) after receiving the start up bonus of $500 when starting the graduate program.
Graduate, Regional WA
Given I was taken on with minimal experience in the industry, my salary is justified. However, I do hope for it to increase in time.
Graduate, Canberra
Pay is reasonable for part time work
Graduate, Perth
Pretty competitive
Graduate, Perth
Wish there was bonuses and more pay
Graduate, ACT
Bonus was given with first pay as a startup bonus for clothing. Pay every month is difficult but helps with learning to budget
Intern, Wagga Wagga
Grad salary is uniform across whole firm and initial $500 bonus is given to all new staff for purchasing WFH items but beyond that haven't had much experience with potential pay increases or bonuses.
Graduate, Brisbane
Pay is monthly, so it can be hard to budget before each pay cheque. Especially when earning a lower salary.
Intern, Albury
Pay is below average but opens career prospects
Graduate, NSW
No bonuses are provided in the company. I don't have any comments on pay as I am unsure what other firms in the industry pay their graduates.
Graduate, Brisbane
I haven't had a pay review or promotion yet but I would hope it is in line with industry standards
Graduate, Perth
It doesn't align with current economic environment. The salary's pretty much the same comparing to ten years ago while the commodity prices have apparently gone up a lot.
Graduate, Ballarat
Pay is generally not competitive, no performance-based bonuses.
Graduate, Sydney
I took a huge, huge pay cut to come and work here. However, I understand my position and know that I will progress in pay and promotions soon enough.
Graduate, Canberra
Got a signing bonus which was good. On casual rates now for flexibility
Graduate, Melbourne
The pay is very competitive for an accounting grad and is certainly higher than some local firms I have heard of/worked for.
Graduate, Bunbury
Graduate level wage
Graduate, Perth
Graduate role is paid as expected, however I would expect more training based on the level of pay not to be working at an accountant level from the beginning. With this in mind I think the pay could be increased if this is the standard expectation.
Graduate, Gosford
Bottom level need to get paid more.
Graduate, Canberra
Well thought out, easy to access
