Our inclusive workplace celebrates the differences that make us unique. When you work with RSM, you can be your authentic self.

Our Commitment

At RSM Australia, we are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, particularly in relation to First Nations and Indigenous Australians. We recognize the unique contributions, perspectives, and strengths that First Nations people bring to our organisation and the broader community. We are dedicated to building strong relationships with First Nations communities and organisations, working collaboratively towards reconciliation and the advancement of Indigenous rights and cultures.

Our Actions

RSM Australia has taken concrete steps to support reconciliation and Indigenous communities. One notable action is the partnership with the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Through this collaboration, RSM hosted a morning tea event at their Sydney office to raise donations for Indigenous literacy and promote Indigenous learning. This initiative aimed to support tailored programs for Indigenous learning and foster awareness within the office about the importance of Indigenous literacy. Additionally, RSM in Perth organised a panel discussion during NAIDOC Week, encouraging employees to champion institutional and collaborative change while celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders who have driven change in their communities. These events provide platforms for dialogue, education and empowerment in support of reconciliation.

Our Progress

RSM Australia has made significant progress in supporting reconciliation and Indigenous communities. As an organisation, RSM acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Owners of the lands across the country, honouring their enduring connection to the land, rich cultures and ongoing contributions to society. This recognition demonstrates RSM's commitment to cultural inclusivity and respect. Moreover, RSM actively engages in partnerships with organisations like the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, working collaboratively to raise awareness and resources for Indigenous learning and literacy. By leveraging these partnerships, RSM contributes to the empowerment and education of Indigenous communities.

RSM has also taken steps to promote cultural awareness within the organisation. Senior leaders have undergone Acknowledgement of Country training provided by Acknowledge This! which equips them with the knowledge and skills to make genuine and authentic Acknowledgements. This training enhances cultural understanding and ensures that RSM's acknowledgements are meaningful and respectful. By fostering cultural awareness among its employees, RSM creates an inclusive environment that values Indigenous culture and heritage.
