Understanding the working culture, and completing projects give us an idea about how to implement things practically. Apart from this, internships also help in getting an edge over other applicants and help in identifying your likes and dislikes.
My tasks included booking in clients for meetings and preparing for those meetings. I also write Statements of Advice that are personalised advice documents for our clients.
As I gain more experience, I am given the opportunity to assist with the more complex items such as tax returns for companies and trusts, tax advice pieces and even business reports.
