Join Visy as a Graduate Materials Engineer to manage materials in a new glass plant project, driving sustainable packaging solutions.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Material Management System (MMS) for the Glass Plant Project.
  • Developing and maintaining the MMS database.
  • Tracking material usage and ensuring proper documentation and audits.
  • Assisting procurement teams in material sourcing and availability.
  • Providing data analysis and reporting on material usage and inventory.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.

About you

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Strong interest or experience in material/database management.
  • Proficiency in MMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to quality and compliance in material handling.
  • Exposure to working within large-scale construction projects (preferable).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability best practices (preferred).

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based on the site in Yatala.
