The Risk Analytics team in Mumbai is part of the Market Risk Analytics and Scenario Analytics teams of the firm. The Market Risk Analytics team is a methodology team responsible for the development, enhancement, and periodic updates of risk models for the firm’s portfolios for the Market Risk department.

Your role

This role is in the FID BURM budget/workforce strategy space. The candidate will work closely with the rest of the team but is expected to be comfortable leading tasks independently, including the following:

Workforce Strategy

• Determine employee headcount needs
• Maintain a roster of headcount with anticipated joiners and leavers
• Create presentations for headcount requests

Task Order processing

• Completing the Legal Intake Form to initiate contracts
• Working with legal to finalise and execute contracts
• Determining if Confidential Supervisory Information (CSI), Material Non-Public Information
• (MNPI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is in scope
• if so, fill out the necessary questionnaires and paperwork to process with legal
• Performing risk assessment on Suppliers

Budget & Expense Management

• Analysing consulting budget to determine if funding is appropriate
• Comparing budget to headcount to determine if additional funding is required
• Creating new budget requests in the Firm-wide tool
• Create PowerPoint presentations on funding needs
• Perform Actuals / Forecast vs. Budget variance analysis and provide detailed commentary

Consulting Headcount Management:

• Enter/manage to consult headcount profiles and periodic reviews in compliance with the firm policies
• Liaise with the work-stream heads and determine location strategy for consultants
• Periodic review of furlough plans for eligible consultants

Training, Development & Rotations

The MSFS Internship Program has been designed to develop highly motivated professionals by providing a stimulating and supportive environment to understand the business and achieve maximum potential.  On joining, you will go through a training program that covers business process and systems training.

Summer Associates spend eight-ten weeks working on live projects, understanding the business workings and how Investor Services supports Morgan Stanley and its businesses.
