Program Management Intern - Open Banking

The digital acceleration has changed how people think about money and what they expect from financial services — from everyday transactions to digital interactions of all kinds. Open banking, which lets people and businesses safely share their data to access innovative experiences, is meeting these expectations, expanding payment choice, delivering secure and frictionless lending, and bringing the promise of the digital economy to more people. 

Open Banking is key part of Mastercard's strategy to extend into new networks. The intern will get a strong foundational understanding of the Mastercard Open banking business in Australia. The internship will require deep engagement with the product and engineering teams to understand progress and how things work. Additionally, the Data Access team works directly with financial institutions to enable connectivity.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program with an expected graduation date between June 2025 and December 2025. 
• Able to commit to an internship period from 4 December 2024 to 31 January 2025 . (Note: designated start/end dates cannot be negotiated).
