I am in regular contact with my counselling partner and I am given very clear guidelines around the expectations required for me to be promoted.

Promotions at HLB are based-off performance and feedback provided from jobs you have worked on. You are able to progress quickly through the firm depending on how well you work.

I know there are lots of opportunities to get promotions and move up the ranks. There are many seniors and managers that started off as. It is important to take on feedback and improve yourself as well as perform to the best of your ability but also to gain good managing qualities to move up the ranks.

The firm has very clear progression through the firm. There is also a matrix of what needs to be done to get to the next level.

There is a competency framework to measure skills against and semi-annual performance reviews. This allows plenty of opportunity to measure progression.
