CT Product Manager – Senior Associate

The Opportunity

  • Delivers against daily work activities aligned to a specific product, developing specialization and building expertise in product management
  • Supports the product team by investigating, recommending, and providing insights into the development of products and solutions
  • Reviews the alignment of solutions, product platforms, products and capabilities to business requirements
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g. security, engineering, marketing, finance, procurement, legal) to enable successful product pursuit and delivery

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provides analytical support to the product group, researches and presents insights into the latest industry trends and customer requirements and makes recommendations to the product team
  • Develops and reviews relevant product specifications to communicate product awareness internally and externally
  • Collaborates and communicates with testers to ensure they fully understand user story acceptance criteria and reviews product user guides and training material to ensure they reflect current functionality
  • Reviews the implementation of improvements to existing products or services, with minimal direction
  • Communicates and collaborates closely with business teams, technical teams, experience design teams, product managers, product owners and testers to define business features and requirements
  • Facilitates design thinking works sessions in collaboration with design strategists to define features and customer requirements

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of product development and delivery frameworks especially Agile framework, DevOps practices and microservices
  • Strong ability to write queries (e.g. SQL), interrogate raw data (e.g. CSV, XML) and examine data using industry-based tools (e.g. MS PowerBI)
  • Guide in use of Microsoft efficiency tool suites
  • Demonstrates good understanding of design tools (e.g. Sketch) including what they are used for and how they can improve product and feature concepts
  • Demonstrates good understanding of design principles and design frameworks to facilitate conversations with design leads
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of how design thinking and user research shape a product roadmap
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate closely between business, technology and design teams

To qualify for the role you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent preferred
  • Up to 4 years of meaningful work experience
  • Handle ambiguity and able to move forward with imperfect information and get things done in a constantly evolving environment
  • Communicates feedback to the leadership team to improve and evolve the quality of products
  • Cultivates and establishes relationships across business & IT and industry to capture intelligence and bring insight about the wider enterprise picture and enable the leveraging of emerging industry standards and approaches within EY
  • Leads all aspects of the development and implementation of an ongoing communication plan to educate on the purpose and benefits of Product Management
  • Proven working experience with relevant tools and technologies (e.g. Visual Studio Team Services, Agile, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, MS Power BI)
  • Experience working in an Agile framework as well as a fast-paced team and ability to adapt quickly to change

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • The ability to quickly form strong working relationships with colleagues within and outside India.
  • Experience and ability to define and develop cloud-based products and services, including reusable domain-specific microservices on Cloud environments - Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, or OpenStack
  • Shown success in defining product features and driving feature execution – from concept to commissioning
  • A proven eye for business, management and marketing communication skills
