Your role

The role of Analyst - EMS (Engagement Management Services) is responsible for providing key operational support to the Tax and accounting practices which EY provides to its multinational clients. 

  • Providing Operations management support on complex regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictions
  • Managing the end to end Engagement lifecycle management process and reporting standards
  • Providing project management support and controlling the cost of managing compliance across various regions/countries
  • Responsible for ensuring smooth delivery as per agreed SLAs

Responsibilities

Operational Support and Reporting:  

  • Work closely with a Senior to provide day-to-day engagement management support for the client (s) 
  • Support client teams in Americas, EMEIA and APAC in providing timely and accurate information about the engagement to the client headquarters 
  • Provide situational analysis and solutions for mitigating issues & risks in an engagement  
  • Effectively liaise with EY professionals preparing the fillings in countries & client teams 
  • Understand the functioning of the engagement tools and usage involved in global service delivery
  • Ensure engagement management tools are maintained in real-time for client headquarters to access and understand tax and accounts filling status across the globe
  • Modify tools to reflect the status of the engagement in real-time by working with the local country teams 
  • Understand queries from client-facing teams and work with local EY professionals for solutions

Project Coordination & Control:

  • Monitor and control activities leading up to fulfilment of compliance and reporting obligations of the practices across countries 
  • Monitor engagement status, issues and potential risks that can impact engagement 
  • Work with global teams to understand the status of the filings for the client(s)
  • Understand processes and dependencies in meeting obligations of the filings in countries 
  • Provide engagement status on a periodic basis highlighting risks and issues and achievements
  • Skills and attributes to qualify for the role

About you

You will need to: 

  • Have excellent communication skills - both written and oral

The job holder will work on several client accounts/ engagements, where they will be involved in delivering all service management aspects of multi-national engagement. 

Skillset:

  • 0 to 2 years of total work experience 
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree, preferably Finance, Commerce, Math, Computer Science or Business Management
  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural and team environment if applicable
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to change and operational tools
