Applications to our Intern and Graduate programme open on Monday 7 March 2022.
Students are able to sign up for as many sessions as they’re interested in. There will be opportunities to ask questions and hear from the Graduate Recruitment team regarding the application process prior to applications opening to ensure students are able to make informed decisions about what intern or graduate position they’d like to apply too.
Tax and Private – 10am -11am
As part of the Deloitte Tax team you will provide a full range of services to an extensive portfolio of clients from NZ owned and international multinationals to hospitality, retail, agricultural etc. businesses nationwide. You’ll build your commercial, industry and technical knowledge, using it to consult with clients and deliver practical advice.
Audit – 11am – 12pm
Assurance and Advisory brings a business mind-set combined with deep technical knowledge and extensive industry experience to assist clients in addressing their business issues across the broad spectrum of accounting, financial reporting, governance, compliance, and risk advisory disciplines. We also strive to provide timely communications regarding professional developments and insights that may affect business.
Consulting – 12pm -1pm
The Consulting team provides consulting services to our clients on their strategic direction, the operation of their business and their information systems and technology.
The Consulting services portfolio is organised into five functional areas: Strategy, Growth & Innovation, Core Business Operations, Human Capital, Enterprise Operations and Enterprise Performance
Risk Advisory – 1-2pm
Deloitte's Risk Intelligent approach helps clients: focus on areas of increased risk; address the entire spectrum of emerging risks, including disruption due to innovation, cyber, geopolitical, and other trends; and pursue intelligent risk-taking as a means to value creation.
Corporate Finance – 2-3pm
With a focus and the capabilities to manage transactions from start to finish, Corporate Finance specialise in a range of advisory services including selling or buying a business and raising debt or equity finance. We utilise our skills and experience to assist our clients on a range of transactions including valuations, financial modelling, business cases and strategic reviews, litigation support and other corporate finance related matters.
Actuarial Services – 3-3.30pm
Actuaries mathematically evaluate the probability of events and quantify the contingent outcomes in order to minimize the impacts of financial losses associated with uncertain undesirable events. Our Actuarial team uses specialist modelling skills to help clients understand and manage the risk within their business and make better long-term financial decisions.
