The role

Salesforce engineers build, scale and maintain Xero's Salesforce products and services. This includes one of New Zealand's most complex Salesforce environments.

You'll have the opportunity to work across Xero's Salesforce teams and collaborate with wider Xero engineering and business teams to build beautiful solutions and services at scale across the Xero sales, digital marketing and customer success ecosystem. If you enjoy learning and want to be part of a growing team building and optimising Xero's Salesforce technology, then we want to hear from you.

As a grad, you’ll get to rotate through different teams across the Salesforce platform. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues to deliver excellent and sustainable solutions using a modern approach to software engineering. You’ll work with technologies like APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flows, Process Builder and more. We’ll support you on your way to becoming a Salesforce engineer in your first year.

What we’d like to see from you

You’ll have a passion for writing code, learning, sharing ideas and being keen to work in an agile environment. We welcome grads with any qualification, not necessarily a university degree.

Ideally, you’ll:

  • enjoy problem-solving and collaborating with a team with diverse experiences and backgrounds to achieve the best outcomes for your work
  • take a logical and proactive approach to your learning and work
  • be a great communicator who enjoys working in agile teams
  • be keen to continuously learn and grow your skills and support your team members

If this sounds like you, get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.

How to apply

Due to the number of applications we receive, we ask that you only apply for one role in one location. Please take some time to research each opportunity available before submitting your application.

If you’re invited to a grad day, it will include technical and soft skills interviews, as well as group and individual challenges.
